If you don't have a travel partner but wish to travel at twin share rates, we will do our best to match you up with another person, but this is not guaranteed. For a single room there will be an additional charge of $1255. However for the night of the Oberammagau performance only twin share accommodation is available.

26.08.10	Depart Brisbane at 11.20pm on MH 140, arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 5.45am the next morning (27.08.10).
27.08.10	Depart Sydney at 2.00pm on MH 122, arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 8.30pm. Depart Melbourne at 3.00pm on MH 148, arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 9.10pm. All flights will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in central Kuala Lumpur.
28.08.10 (B/L)	Kuala Lumpur This morning there will be a half day Kuala Lumpur city tour. A must for first time visitors to Kuala Lumpur. An interesting tour which unveils the beauty and charm of the old and new Kuala Lumpur - Garden City of Light. Highlights of the tour include: Petronas Twin Towers (photo stop), National Monument, National Museum, National Mosque (photo shop), Sultan Abdul Samad Building and the Tudor styled Cricket Club.
29.08.10 (B)	Kuala Lumpur - London Transfer to Kuala Lumpur Airport, departing at 10.05am on MH 4, arriving in London Heathrow at 4.15pm. Upon your arrival you will be met and transferred to your London Hotel. Accommodation: Jurys Inn Islington.
30.08.10 (B)	London - Amsterdam We cross the English Channel to Calais, then drive through Belgium to lively Amsterdam. Accommodation:  Ibis Schiphol Hotel.
31.08.10 (BB/D)	Amsterdam - Rhine Cruise - Rhineland First to Cologne to see the gothic cathedral before continuing to Boppard to take scenic Rhine Cruise. Accommodation:  NH Weinheim Hotel.
01.09.10 (BB/D)	Rhineland - Lake Lucerne First we see Heidelberg castle before driving through the Black Forest to the Swiss border and the Rhine Falls before continuing to lakeside Lucerne. Accommodation:  Krone Hotel.
02.09.10 (BB/D)	Lucerne Our orientation tour includes the Lion Monument and the Chapel Bridge, then there is time to maybe take a mountain bike excursion. Accommodation:  Krone Hotel.
03.09.10 (BB/L/D)	Lucerne - Oberammergau This morning we drive to Bavaria, in southern Germany. First we enjoy an included lunch before continuing to the charming village of Oberammergau to attend the Passion Play performance at 2.30pm. In the interval dinner is included at a restaurant and the play then concludes at 10.30pm. All passengers will be transferred to their overnight accommodation.
04.09.10 (BB/D)	Oberammergau - Innsbruck - Venice This morning we depart from Oberammergau region and rejoin our tour in Innsbruck and continue to the magical city of Venice. Accommodation:  II Burchiello Hotel.
05.09.10 (BB/D)	Venice We glide by vaporetto to St Marks Square where we see the Bridge of Sighs and watch a glass blowing demonstration. Accommodation:  II Burchiello Hotel.
06.09.10 (BB)	Venice - Rome We head south over the Veneto Plain, cross the Apennine Hills and eventually reach the Eternal City, Rome. Accommodation:  Area Hotel.
07.09.10 (BB)	Rome Our guided tour includes a visit to St Peters Basilica and views of the Forum and the mighty Colosseum. Accommodation: Area Hotel.
08.09.10 (BB/D)	Rome - Sorrento We pass the abbey of Monte Cassino en route to the Bay of Naples. Time to maybe take an excursion to the beautiful Isle of Capri before reaching our hotel for tonight. Accommodation:  Grand Hotel Moon Valley.
09.09.10 (BB/D)	Sorrento - Florence Time to take an optional excursion to the excavations at Pompeii before driving northwards to Florence. Accommodation:  Art Hotel Miro.
10.09.10 (BB)	Florence - Pisa - Nice We enjoy stunning views of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo before time to explore. later we see the Leaning Tower of Pisa before we follow the coastline to France and the fashionable city of Nice. Accommodation:  Apogia Hotel.
11.09.10 (BB)	Nice Orientation shows us the Promenade des Anglais and the Place Massena. Later we visit Monaco where we see the famous casino of Monte Carlo. Accommodation:  Apogia Hotel.
12.09.10 (BB/D)	Nice - Cannes - Lyon First to Cannes to see the Film Festival Theatre. Then we drive through Provence to the city of Avignon. From here we follow the Rhone valley to the city of Lyon. Accommodation: Campanile Tassin Hotel.
13.09.10 (BB)	Lyon - Paris We drive through Burgundy and past the Forest of Fontianebleau to arrive in Paris. Accommodation:  Mercure La Defense 5 Hotel.
14.09.10 (BB)	Paris Our morning guided tour features the Place de la Concorde, the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. Accommodation:  Mecure La Defense 5 Hotel.
15.09.10 (BB)	Paris - London We cross Northern France with many reminders of the First World War before reaching Calais where we board the ferry back to Dover, and then drive back to London.  Transfer to your London hotel for your 2 night stay.
16.09.10 (B)	London Today we have a completely free day to do your own thing in one of the most exciting cities in the world.
17.09.10	London - Kuala Lumpur Transfer to London Heathrow Airport, departing at 12 noon on MH 3, arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 7.25am the next morning (18.09.10)
18.09.10	Sydney & Brisbane passengers depart Kuala Lumpur at 9.00am on MH 141, arriving in Sydney at 6.50pm and Brisbane at 9.45pm. Melbourne passengers depart Kuala Lumpur at 10.05am on MH 129, arriving in Melbourne at 7.40pm.

Deposits and Payments - Because of the limited availability for Oberammagau the deposit and final payments for this tour are quite strict. The non-refundable deposit is $1850 per person and must be paid within 7 days of booking (Travel Insurance should be taken out as soon as the deposit is paid). The balance is payable in full on or before 8th May 2010.

Refunds and Cancellations - Cancellations after final payment will result in a refund limited to whatever we can recoup from the airline.

Insurance - Adequate travel insurance is essential. We can arrange this for you if desired.

Passports - All travellers require a current passport with at least 6 months left on it at the end of the tour. Non-Australian passport holders require a re-entry visa for Australia. 

Basic Tour Price and Taxes -Air taxes and fuel levies are included in the basic tour price, and as air taxes and fuel levies change regularly  the exact amount will be advised at time of invoicing. At present air taxes and fuel levies come to $700 for the standard tour. Total tour cost may therefore change.

Breakaway Fee
All fully inclusive prices are based on group travel and any deviation from the set  itinerary will incur a breakaway fee.

Not  Included in the Cost - Travel insurance, visas and all items of a personal nature such as telephone calls, drinks, excess baggage, tips, meals (except those specified in the itinerary), etc. are not included in the cost.
Similarly, credit card payments can only be accepted if 2% is added to the price to help defray the heavy merchant fees charged to us by the credit card companies.

Booking through other Agents - As we keep the cost of our tours as low as possible, there is insufficient margin for us to be able to pay commission to other travel agents, so some bookings can only be accepted if the client pays the other agent's commission. 
Macleay Valley Travel is a fully licensed travel agent and as such any monies paid to us are fully insured by the Travel Compensation Fund. We are happy for any prospective traveller with us to check us out with your local Consumer Affairs (fair trading) department.

Health and Fitness - Macleay Valley Travel recommends that the passenger is reasonably healthy and/or fit to participate in this tour.  Persons with a disability requiring special assistance must be accompanied by a companion. Macleay Valley Travel and their representatives cannot provide this service.  Macleay Valley Travel reserves the right to accept/decline or terminate a passenger's participation in the tour under certain circumstances.

Limitation of Liability - As Macleay Valley Travel acts only as agent for the Airlines, Hotels, Coach Companies etc., providing accommodation, transportation and other services, Macleay Valley Travel shall not be liable or responsible for death or injury to any person or loss or damage to any property including baggage arising out of or connection with any transportation, accommodation or other services, or resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of Government or other authorities, de jure or defacto wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, delays or cancellations caused by changes in schedules or itinerary, or over bookings or defaults or for any causes beyond Macleay Valley Travel's control or any loss or damage resulting from improper or insufficient passports, visas or other documents and neither Macleay Valley Travel, and its servants or employees shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses or liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of the foregoing causes.
Macleay Valley Travel reserves the right to modify the itinerary or the accommodation if circumstances make this necessary, provided that the amended itinerary is of equal value or greater value than that of the original program.
