Depart Sydney at
9.35am on SQ220, arriving in Singapore at 2.45pm.
Depart Brisbane at 9.30am on SQ256, arriving in Singapore at 3.15pm.
Depart Melbourne at 11.20am on SQ238, arriving in Singapore at 3.55pm.
All passengers depart Singapore at 5.40pm on SQ 186, arriving in Saigon
(Ho Chi Minh city) at 6.45pm.
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the hotel for check-in.

In the morning
there is a short walking tour around downtown Saigon passing the Opera
House, City Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. We
will then have a tour of Saigon by bus including visits to the former
Presidential Palace (Reunification Palace), the War Museum and a drive
around China Town with a visit to Thien Hau Temple which is dedicated
to the Sea Goddess. Lunch at a nice local restaurant.
In the afternoon we take a tour to Cu Chi the fascinating tunnel
networks built by the Viet Cong in the war, a nice 65km drive through
rubber and tapioca plantations.

After breakfast we
drive 20km to the Vietnam Golf and Country Club, which is the
first International 36-hole golf club in Vietnam and is widely
regarded as Vietnam's premier Golf and Country Club. Enjoy playing a
round of 18 holes then back to Saigon for lunch.
The rest of the day is at leisure.

This morning
depart on a coach trip to My Tho which is a two hour drive from Ho Chi
Minh City. My Tho is a prosperous town of 200,000 inhabitants in the
Mekong Delta. It is famous for its extensive orchards and immense rice
fields. Enjoy a 4-5 hour boat ride on the Mekong River and visit an
orchard on an island, coconut candy workshop, bee farm with lunch at a
farmer's house.
Return to Saigon in the late afternoon

Depart Saigon for
Dalat, a cool mountain resort built by the French in 1920s as a hill
station. Its lakes, waterfall, evergreen forests and gardens make Dalat
one of the most enjoyable places in Vietnam.
Enjoy a beautiful drive through rubber, coffee and tea plantations,
with a stopover at La Nga floating village, and lunch at Lien Do
restaurant in Bao Loc.
Upon arrival in Dalat we check-in to our hotel.
Dinner tonight at the hotel.

A short drive to
the cable car station for a 15 minute ride with a beautiful view
overlooking the pine forest and vegetable gardens of the city of
Dalat.
Visit the Crazy House and Bao Dai, the last emperor's summer villa and
enjoy a train ride through vegetable gardens to Trai Mat then visit
Linh Phuoc Pagoda, a famous beer bottle and ceramic fragments pagoda in
town.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Leave the hotel in the late afternoon for Lat village (12km from town)
to visit the local ethnic minorities and enjoy an interesting 1 hour
dance and gong show.
Dinner tonight at a local restaurant.

Enjoy playing one
round at the Dalat Golf Course in the morning, a beautiful course and
the first golf course built in Vietnam in the1920's.
In the afternoon, leaving Dalat for Nha Trang, the most popular beach
resort in Vietnam. We arrive into Nha Trang in the late afternoon.
Dinner tonight at Nha Trang Sailing club.

Today there will
be a boat trip to visit an offshore fishing village and aquarium then
enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the South China sea.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
You will have free time this afternoon for more swimming and to wander
the town.

This morning we
transfer to the airport for a flight to Danang. Upon arrival in Danang,
we have a 45 minute drive to Hoi An. When you arrive there will be a
short walking tour to orient yourself with Hoi An, lunch at the
excellent 'Ly' cafe.
Discover the historical town of Hoi An, which was a prosperous seaport
city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Its community of foreign
merchants resulted in a unique architectural style with Vietnamese,
Chinese, Japanese and French influences.
Hoi An is a good place for shopping, especially tailoring, it is a very
laid back town only 4km from the beach and is a good place to relax.

Today is at
leisure.
In the late afternoon, we have a one hour cruise on the Thu Bon river
before a beautiful dinner with a cooking class in a nice local
restaurant 'Morning Glory'.

Depart Hoi An for
Hue, the homeland of Nguyen dynasty, the last dynasty of Vietnam which
ruled the country from 1802 to 1945, across the Hai Van Pass (Pass of
the Ocean Clouds), passing through many pretty red-tiled villages with
fruit orchards, enjoying spectacular views of sky and sea. Stop over at
the 5 marble mountains and China beach where the Americans came for R
& R during the Vietnam War. Arrive in Hue in the late afternoon,
lunch at a nice cafe in town 'Mandarin'.
In the afternoon, we visit the Citadel which was built from 1804-1833
then to Thien Mu Pagoda, a famous one in Hue and Vietnam, boat trip
back to the hotel on the perfume river.

In the morning a
tour visit to the tomb of Khai Dinh, the 12th emperor of the Nguyen
dynasty which ruled the country from 1916 to 1925, a beautiful mosaic
building. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for a flight to Hanoi.
Enjoy a one-hour cyclo ride around the Old and French Quaters of Hanoi
before dinner at a nice local restaurant.

A full day city
tour of Hanoi with visits to Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum and residence, One
Pillar Pagoda and visit to the Temple of Literature built in the 11th
century, which is known as Vietnam's first University. Lunch at KOTO,
after lunch visit to the Ethnology museum.
In the evening enjoy the water puppet show, the unique art of the
Vietnamese from the 11th century. Dinner at a nice local restarant.

Halong Bay, on the way stop at Chi Linh Star Golf and Country Club
enjoy a round of golf on a course where every hole is constructed
and designed to international standards.

Today enjoy a 6
hour cruise on Halong Bay with a seafood lunch on board.
Halong Bay is listed as a World Heritage site, the area of outstanding
beauty 'Dragon descending on the sea' as it is known in Vietnamese,
picturesque Halong Bay has around 1969 limestone islets rising from the
clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. A
visit to a beautiful cave and an opportunity for a swim during the
cruise.
After the cruise we drive back to Hanoi.
