Morning optional tour to see Bangkok's beautiful flower
market, followed by a boat tour of Bangkok's klongs (canals) and the
busy Chao Phya River. See the Royal Barges and the spectacular Temple
of Dawn. This is followed by a visit to a jewellery manufacturer. Price $35.00
In the evening there will be an included tour to Siam
Niramit. With this wonderful show, Thai history and culture comes to
life in a grand spectacle on a 65 metre wide stage with vivid special
effects and 150 performers in incredible costumes. A buffet dinner is

Morning free in Bangkok. Early afternoon departure from the
hotel. First stop will be to see Siam Ocean World at the Siam Paragon
Shopping Centre. Experience the underwater thrill of South East Asia's
largest aquarium, right in the heart of Bangkok. There are over 400
different species including some vary bizarre creatures.
Short time for shopping in the Siam Square area. We then visit the
premises of a jewellery manufacturer. Next we transfer to the boat
landing of the Chao Phraya River where we embark for an evening dinner
cruise in a traditional styled teak river boat. After this we transfer
to Bangkok International Airport, departing at 11.55pm on LH 773,
arriving in Frankfurt at 6.10am the next morning. |

This morning travel southwards at first along the motorway
to the border town of Szeged to cross into the province of Vojvodina in
Serbia. Stop in Novi Sad, the capital of the province, situated on the
River Danube, famous for its Petrovaradin Citadel, known in the west
as the "Gibraltar of the Danube". Drive along the motorway into
Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. |

Belgrade - Sofia, Bulgaria
A comfortable drive southeast by way of Nis;
then across the border into Bulgaria. Arrive in Sofia, its capital, for
sightseeing with a local guide, which will include such highlights as
the Parliament building, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Boyana Church,
the National Theatre and St. Sofia Church. The locals will tell you
that Sofia is growing all the time, yet never ageing. |

Sofia - Excursion to Rila Monastery
This morning drive to Rila to visit its monastery (a
UNESCO World Heritage Site), the most famous in the country. It has a
chequered history that goes way back to Ivan Rilski, a hermit who
founded it in 927. During the very long Turkish rule over the country,
the monastery became a beacon of Bulgarian culture. Return to Sofia. |

Sofia - Plodvdiv - Veliko Tarnovo
This morning head eastwards to Plodiv, Bulgaria's second
largest city, located along the banks of the River Maritsa. Stop here
to visit the charming Old Town and the Roman Amphitheatre. Journey
northwards through fine scenery over the Stara Planina Mountains to
Veliko Tarnovo. |

Veliko Tarnovo - Bucharest, Romania
Today, time to see some of the highlights of Veliko
Tarnovo, located on the Yantra River. During the Middle Ages it was
Bulgaria's capital. Although now a modern town, it still retains
some of its most attractive medieval features. Later,drive to nearby
Arbanassi, world famous for its type of house, which is a cross between
a dwelling and fortress.The village is known as an architectural,
historic reserve and was at one time the summer residence of Bulgarian
kings.One of the highlights of the visit is the Church of the Nativity
built in 1637. In the afternoon journey north to Rousse and cross the
Danube to reach Bucharest. |

shaded by century-old trees contribute to Bucharest's beauty. The
highlight of your sightseeing tour is a visit to the open-air Village

The local guide will also show you other places of interest, including
the Government Victoria Palace, the Royal Palace, and the Savings

Bucharest - Sinaia - Brasov
Leave this morning for a stop in Sinaia in the Prahova
Valley. This is a lovely ski resort, almost 3,300 feet above sea level.
While in Sinaia there will be time to visit the Sinaia Monastery and
Peles Castle, considered among the most romantic in the world. Only a
few more miles and you reach Brasov, a lovely medieval town and famous
for its own town square, studded with baroque architecture and outdoor
cafes. |

Brasov - Sighisoara - Cluj Bapoca
Head northwards for a stop in Sighisoara, a medieval town
with 11 towers - standing within the city walls - which surround
cobblestone streets, ancient houses and churches - It is one of
Romania's prettiest towns. Legend has it that it is also the birthplace
of the notorious Vlad (Dracula). Continue the journey north by way of
Tirgu Mures on to Cluj Napoca in the heart of Transylvania. |

Morning free in Singapore. In the afternoon check out from
the hotel and have a singapore city tour. This tour showcases the
history, multi racial cultural and lifestyle that is Singapore. See the
city's colonial heritage as you drive around the Civic District past
the Padang, the Cricket Club, Parliment House, Supreme Court and City
Hall. Stop at the Merlion Park and visit Thian Hock Keng Temple. Drive
past Chinatown to a local handicraft centre then proceed to the
National Orchid Garden located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
The final stop will be at Little India.
We then transfer to Singapore Airport.
Melbourne passengers depart Singapore at 7.45pm on QF 10, arriving in Melbourne at 5.45am on 21.10.09.
Sydney passengers depart Singapore at 7.50pm on QF6, arriving in Sydney at 6.10am on 21.10.09.
Brisbane passengers depart Singapore at 9.25pm on QF 52, arriving in Brisbane at 6.50am on 21.10.09.
