Australia - Singapore - Saigon
Depart Sydney at 9.05am on SQ 212, arriving in Singapore at 2.30pm.
Depart Brisbane at 9.10am on SQ 256, arriving in Singapore at 3.20pm.
Depart Melbourne at 11.10am on SQ 238, arriving in Singapore at 4.10pm.
All passengers depart Singapore at 5.35pm on SQ 186, arriving in Saigon
(Ho Chi Minh city) at 6.40pm. You will be met and transferred to the
hotel for check-in.

Saigon
In the morning there is a half day Saigon tour including a short
walking tour around downtown passing the Opera House, City Hall, Notre
Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Visit the former
Presidential Palace (Reunification Palace) war remmants museum. Pho
(Traditional Vietnamese Noodle Soup) and spring rolls for lunch.
The rest of the day at leisure. |

Saigon - Mekong Delta
In the morning depart the hotel for a coach trip to My Tho which is a
two hour drive from Saigon. My Tho is a prosperous town of 200,000
inhabitants in the Mekong Delta. It is famous for its extensive
orchards and immense rice fields. Enjoy a 4-5 hour boat ride on the
Mekong River with visits to an orchard on an island, coconut candy
workshop, bee farm, horse carriage ride and lunch at a typical farmer's
house in the Mekong. Back to Saigon late afternoon. |

Saigon - Dalat
Depart Saigon for Dalat, a cool mountain resort built by the French in
1920's as a hill station. Its lakes, waterfall, evergreen forest and
garden make Dalat one of the most enjoyable places in Vietnam. Enjoy a
beautiful drive through rubber, coffee and tea plantations. A stopover
in La Nga floating village and lunch in Bao Loc.
Arrive Dalat and check into the hotel. Dinner at a nice local
restaurant. |

Dalat
Take a short drive to the cable car station for a 15 minute ride with a
beautiful view overlooking the fine forest, vegetable gardens and the
city of Dalat.
The tour takes in a visit to the crazy house and a nice embroidery
workshop and gardens then a short train ride to Trai Mat and a visit to
Linh Phuoc pagoda to see a beer bottle dragon which is considered the
longest one in the world!
Leave the hotel in late afternoon for Lat village (12kms from town) to
visit the local ethnic minorities and enjoy a one hour interesting
dance and gong show.
Dinner is at a local restaurant. |

Dalat - Nha Trang
Leaving Dalat for Nha Trang, the most popular beach resort area in
Vietnam, enjoy a nice four hour driving journey. Lunch at a nice local
restaurant.
In the afternoon enjoy a very interesting mud bath tour (you soak in
hot mud and mineral water, jet spray shower and swim in a mineral water
pool). |

This morning enjoy a boat trip to Mieu Island and Tri Nguyen Aquarium
then Mun island for swimming and snorkelling. Lunch will be at a local
barbecue seafood restaurant.

Nha Trang - Saigon - Singapore
In the morning, transfer to the airport for flight VN 1353 departing at
9.30am to Saigon. Arrive Saigon, and visit China town with a short
walk around Cho Lon the biggest wholesale market in Vietnam and to the
Thien Hau Temple which is the oldest Chinese temple dedicated to the
Sea Goddess. Lunch is at a nice local restaurant 'Alfresco'. In the
afternoon, a nice driving journey to Cu Chi to see a fascinating tunnel
network built by the Viet Cong in the Vietnam War then transfer to the
airport for flight SQ 185 departing Saigon at 7.45pm and arriving in
Singapore at 10.40pm.
