residential blocks into a multifunctional dining, retail and
entertainment centre that is flowing with restaurants, boutiques, cafes
and bars of an international standard. This is followed by a visit to
Pudong area, including an inside visit to the Oriental Pearl Tower (2nd

transferred to the embarkation point to board the Victoria
Katarina for our
incredible cruise of the famous Yangtze River. With a rich Chinese
cultural heritage of thousands of years, the Three Gorges is not only a
picturesque natural gallery, but also a spectacular cultural
wonder. The Victoria Katarina was inaugurated in 2004. It is
constructed with Victoria Cruises personal touches blending both modern
and elegant architecture. The Victoria Katarina takes luxury cruising
on the Yangtze to a whole new level with its generous cabin space,
floor to ceiling windows and private balconies opening up to
breathtaking views. Overnight on board the ship. |

Yangtze River Cruise
Today we will pass Xiling Gorge - West Part, which is
renowned for being extremely perilous and is the longest of the Three
Gorges. The water is full of turbulent currents, whirlpools and
dangerous shoals. We transfer to smaller boats to see the Shennongxi
Stream. In the afternoon, we will pass Wu Gorge, which
boasts the most immediately beautiful and spectacular scenery
of the Three
Gorges. Then we will pass Qutang Gorge. Although Qutang is the smallest
among the Three Gorges, it is actually the most beautiful one and the
water here flows the fastest.

years, with each emperor identified as a dragon sent from heaven.
This morning we start our city tour with a visit to Tiananmen Square,
followed by a visit to the Forbidden City. This complex is the largest
and most intact collection of ancient structures of the imperial palace
ever built. It features more than 800 buildings with 9999 rooms,
